I'm in perfect health because of the blood purifying effects of ketosis, but to be a bodybuilder I need to carb cycle for the addition of the 10.000 calorie cheat /load day for myself to add the muscle, it takes 6500 calories for my 280 lbs to maintain muscle, to add muscle the carb cycle allows me to go into a calorie surplus and add muscle over the 6500 maintenance number. It's extremely difficult to stay 100% in ketosis and add muscle on a 280 lb athlete.Not to sound funny, but in light of those facts, then why have a load day at all? Metabolic reasons and a hormonal response? Performance reasons? Seems like staying in keto would make more sense for you... at least from a health standpoint.
