How many here have tried a slingshot on benching? I recently bought one a must say it really helps on the shoulder pain. It does help u cheat but for me it helps overload my chest workouts without having shoulder pain at the end of my workouts.

I tried one a guy had in the gym one night . Definitely can see where it would help for overload training . I think used once in a while it would help up your bench . My shoulder pain when I bench is coming down to far . If I stay a few inches off my chest it doesn't hurt near as much . some will argue its not a full rep but I don't give a shit , I'm a bodybuilder not a powerlifter .

Ive used bands in a rack to take off weigh on the lower end of the lift . I can go WAY heavier and without shoulder pain

Yeah ive done slingshot boards bands anything to help my shoulders (one more so than other) and for me the sling works! its still feeling the weight and more overload at the weight its definitely helping u in the bottom part of lift but for me it is just a shoulder relief tool on chest day finally.

Almost like a bench shirt. i have never worn a bench shirt but assume its close. I like it for after like most for overload...Maybe occasionally by itself I suppose. If you have reall shoulder issues and are bbing id say its okay but then you should probably be doing more incline... My bench just dropped a lot over last two weeks as my should is always sore and not feeling right so I may switch to inclines for few weeks

Slingshot is great! I cann add more weight when im fatigued and push extra reps. Not only does it help shoulder pain also takes strain off my forearms. I had crippling tendonitis yesterday and the slingshot helped alot.

Off topic thought id share depending on your shoulder pain or tendonitis there is a method called "graston" practiced by some sport doctors or chiropractors. It is fucken painful ive literally used it almost everywhere and it is a miracle sometimes. It is a very aggressive treatment and breaks up muscle adhesions and scar tissue, like i said it painful but you will be avle to train the way u want without nagging pain once you get through it.
