Just curious as to where you guys like to get your protein from.

DPS Nutrition alot, Beverly International (directly )

At times SuppZ Dot comm had nice deals, as does NutraPlanet. www.smartpowders.com also, some near or at expirey for "Dirt" cheap but usually DPS or Bev
 
I personally like a good sirloin steak but I try and limit the read meat. I would have to say I get most of protein from chicken.

Source of:
lotsa eggs, lately not so.much ,but the liquid egg whites
added to protien, or Roc's concoction PB Fit , liquid egg
whites, scoop protien & a packet or two of protien
banana nut oatmeal, Blended.

I do red meat few times a week, eat alot of rotisserie chicken, as you get 3 lbs cooked bird for $5.00 several meals, Next up is Salmon every other week I'll cook a slab when cost effective , or just get smaller & accompany with chicken, or other beef, etc.

Supplementary thr powders, as extra Cal's (treats so to speak )

*** I've also eaten cottage cheese all my life, tuna out of the can. Albacore with terriakki sauce & salad greens /rice.

Right now I only do beef for 3 months for my 5 meals, I drink 24 egg whites a day and I’ll eat two salmon steaks after my post workout meal. I either cook rib eye or sirloin only and rare
 
2 lbs day of red meat is what I'm doing right now. I feel better then ever and my body is loving it. Also a dozen eggs a day gets me my bare minimum protein for the day.

Used to eat a lb of beef, & a lb of chx & 18 eggs a day.

Them were some growing days..

Trying to get back to some semblance of that lean mass gain diet. Cannot go wrong with Beef n egg's.

How much IS your minimum?

200g real food protein is minimum. I'm usually around 250-300 though. I only use shakes when real food isn't an option. Haven't had one in a couple weeks now that I think about it...

Every night I cook 2 lbs beef and a dozen eggs. That combined with 2 cups brown rice, (2) 4 oz whole wheat pasta, 2 whole wheat tortillas, is the base of my diet right now.

I eat all that daily no matter what and try to get in another 1-2 small protein based meals also depending on work/kid/etc etc...
 
300g protein and 200g carb is my normal amount though. I like to keep my protein the same and manipulate carbs based on goals.
