Dallas "Big Country" McCarver Dead

Bodybuilding has long been an unhealthy (Yes, "Unhealthy") activity/sport. When the limits became unlimited due to the advent of new drugs, and newly discovered alternative and experimental uses for drugs - BB became much more dangerous (most largely at the competitive level). There's a fine line when a plethora of drugs are used and joined together with a lifestyle of pushing the body to, and far beyond, it's natural limits. Someone (especially with "blessed" genetics) can make an impressive amount of gains by pushing themselves above and beyond ordinary physical stresses. That level of physical and mental stress is taxing enough in and of itself.... then when you add the increased stresses of a plethora of drugs, of course we're going to see a greater number of health issues occurring.
Let's face it - by the end of the 20th century, BBers were transitioning from more aesthetically balanced (and less drug dependent) physiques, into mass freaks. It is by this point in time (2000 onward) that increased dangers became a prominent part of the game. BBing has long struggled for the popularity it once enjoyed back in the 60s thru the 80s. There are most certainly a number of reasons for this in our society in general, but I believe it's irrefutable that when Big became freakish HYUGE, and a broader general awareness (by the public) became so mainstream controversial - BBing popularity hit an all time (deservedly and understandable) low. The physique class seemed to be an attempt (an experiment of sorts) to usher back in more of the old school appeal, but it too has not been free of too great an emphasis on excessive drug forced enhancement.

Did anyone read the cause of death yet before spewing off how bad AAS is? He fucking choked. You dont "choke on food in your sleep". That is sleep apnea genetic and can be caused by obesity. He fkn choked on food. Airway obstruction found at the dinner table. Not one direct link to in pro bbing death and evyone wants to blame gear. Yeah he was overdoing it but almost every last Mr.O is still alive and we just not long ago lost the first. Obv 330 is bigger than say Arnolds 250 or whatever but this isnt contest weight. Slin or diuretics kill many more.

I feel very sad for his friends and family to lose someone at such a young age. With that beign said, his physical apperence over the past 12 months, i thought, was alarming. He seemed to have aged 20 years in the past year, with just excessove mass, no joke, look at the videos. I understand the theory now is he "choked" on food or vitamins, but this just seems so strange considering the whispers about him pushing the limits big time recently Wouldnt be suprised at all if this is something far more complicated, heart issue or something related with slin. Still, very sad and really heartbreaking for his parents.

From what I have read and seen over the few years I've known of him, seemed like a very promising and well liked rising star! To early for death no doubt!

Most likely slin, if it wasn't just choking by itself. as the 911 tape his roomate was saying HE believed that's what caused it, though the airway was obstructed . So many saying he was so massive yet I keep saying there are many bbers whove pushed 300 or so and yes its unhealthy being that big and using AAS also is unhealthy the way many of us and pros use it but does not cause sudden death or airway obstruction to point of death. It just gets annoying most of us here know better but random idiots on internet will commet seeing "BBER dies at 25" and say oh well "steroids kill people"... but yeah its sad. I was hoping guy would be one of our next Mr.O's in a few years.
