Arnold Classic 2018// Columbus

Good morning, MotorCity. I'm from Cbus and been to many of the Classic's. Like mentioned, it's been absolutely jam packed thru Saturday. Probably want to eat before going too. Not a lot to choose from there, and the price of a slice of pizza's like $10.00. But, vendors do give away a lot of samples. And parking is dumb too. Last time I went I paid $20.00 about half mile away from Vets Memorial.
If you stay thru Sunday the vendors will give you great deals on products. I've stocked up on creatine and protein powders. They were selling the stuff for about half off. They don't want to go home carrying product.
Met many of the guys. All of em cool but I remember most is actually having a conversation with Nasser El Sonbaty and Lee Priest. Ronnie Coleman will take his time and talk a bit even while signing autographs.
But I was most impressed by Randy Couture. He had a meet and greet, signing autographs and time had ran out for autographs and to buy his products but he told everyone that was already in line (and it was long as hell) to stay where they were and he would come to them one by one. And he did. Took him quite awhile to complete, taking pics with people, bullshitting even when one of his people was trying to get him outta there. Super cool guy.
But yeah, good times if you can put with the crowd and lack of parking.
Have fun, my man.

My wife and i were thinking of going this year. I saw that its thurs-sun. When is the best day to go?

Saturday...its a circus for meat heads so make a day of it...then go to German Village and put up with the 1 hour wait for gut busting German food at Schmidt's.

We Try to make the Arnold every year in the beginning they would throw products and shirts out in the crowd, much more organized and civilized nowadays. You wait in long lines.snack bar very unrealistic parking forget it,but seem to make it there. I will be there just look me up. I will be the big dude.

Been years since I've gone to the Expo. Years ago it was a lot better, at the time vendors gave away protein bars and decent size sample packs of other supplements. You would walk out with 2 bags of stuff. Than the vendors got cheap and started breaking protein bars into small pieces. It's always been a meathead fest but it got worse over the years, this NEW generation walking around with like their badass's. Got tired of dealing with that bullshit and haven't been back since and don't plan on it.
