Your best sports accomplishment

I would say winning states in Wrestling my JR year of H.S. I was unstoppable that year.. I won states with literally two moves The Duck-under, and the Single Leg. Lol it was too easy and no one could stop it at the time! Also the following year I broke my state record for most TD’s scores in a game with 7 which was really amazing. But winning states was great I had the whole family/town there supporting me. Nothing like it...

Mine was really nothing, plus it was so long ago, but I was a hockey player and at age 13 made the traveling team, went to Canada, stayed w/ the Canadian family (no one spoke English) played in the tourney.
Then the same player came here for the "home and home" and he stayed with my family. A couple years later in High School I got into other things (girls, partying) and soon gave it up. But it was fun,and I'm still a huge hockey fan...

I got into lifting/bodybuilding in 1977/78, so once in high school, that was my real passion, and still is...

Sportsmanship for me is when a guy walks off the court(or mat) and you really can't tell whether he won or lost, when he carries himself with pride either way.
Very well said! It is taught in the Martial arts to do this exact thing, not todays MMA or UFC, Not bashing that at all they are just getting away from it.

Mine was when I started traing in Tang Soo Do, started with just needing to lose weight and teah my youngest daughter a the time to defend herself. Stayed in for over 20 years and oth are now Masters in the arts. My daughter and myself traveled Florida to compete in many tournaments and we won some and placed second, hardly ever any lower. We both work hard and it was some of my proudest days as a father and competitor. I have taught the youth as well and still enjoy that. Then started working with local LEO in CSW and BJJ,still have a lot to learn in both of those, the knowledge of the body and keylocks etc. is never ending.

I was never great at baseball/basketball/footba;ll etc.. I just always remember in youth league I had one of those movie / weird ass moments playing basketball... I ran under the board and jumped while everything slowed down like a dream ,super slow motion one of the weirdest things ever... I crosses the paint in the air as a teammate passed the ball catching in mid air , spinning around in mid air and tossing the ball right into hoop..The whole thing was like I was not doing it and didnt seem real at ALL.. People all stared at me for a brief moment looking shocked and the game continued. The kid who passed it to me said "You pulled that one out of your ass " and laughed but never have I experienced time slow down like that..Nor been able to have floated the way I did or felt that I did. Of course It never happened again. Nor did I score the rest of the game lol

Hitting a homer against Beaumont Kelly in spring 2008... winning state in football in December '07. All of these accomplishments were made in the "natty" stage of my life, though you'd have a problem convincing the fat housemoms in the stands otherwise

Well lets go back to the 90's for me.. LOL.. I was competitive Martial Arts tournament fighter (points) from 1990 to 1995. After 5 years of fighting several times a month, I retired with a record of 246 wins to 7 losses in my career. I won every major tournament
there was in that era including the Ed Parker World Internationals 4 consecutive years in a row. Recieved full major sponsorships from 3 major companies so I never paid a thing when competing for the most part. It was a grueling time for sure and boy did
this OLD body take a beating for those years. So I retired and got back into training, AAS, dieting and just wanting to look good for myself period.. End of story, Peace Out to all..

Ahh...you took the red pill from Morpheus

LOL IDK but it was 100% real and it happened Im sure there is something to this where people exp it in certain situations and I'm betting there are studies into it. Just like when people die and all have the same tunnel/light experience lOl
