i caught this little 60lb y-fin on a spinning rod. that was FUN!

my wife and kids are into it with me. my kids are now 16 and 12 and have been to the bahamas more than most adults i know. this is my sons first y -tuna that he caught all by himself. i have a bunch of "first fish" photos with him. its a cool collection of his first wahoo, 1st tuna, 1st snook etc..

this is a 90lb jewfish that i accidentally poached several years ago. i was highly intoxicated (i left the smile in the pic so you could see our joy)and saw what i thought was a big black grouper. i spent 45 minutes freediving up and down in serious currents to get him. once i realized it was a jewfish i said fuck it, hes got a spear in him. im taking his ass. it was a quick "filet and release" lol!

wahoo trips are always fun. we burn a lot of fuel though. we high speed troll for these guys...14-16kts.
