My dad had over twenty years of construction experience and he loathed when the "engineers " would be in the jobs because they blindly followed what they learned in their books and what the plans showed and they couldn't grasp that the real world works differently than a classroom or draft.

Seen this all the time. And when they fkd up nothing happened. You just had to figure it out or they would change something and you'd get to spend all night breaking everything back down and building it over...

Once upon a time field and engineering worked together listening and respecting each other.. that time has such passed and things have gotten bad.
I don't know what the future holds for big construction but im getting papered up and getting out. Won't make it to 65 in the feild nor do I care to. I no longer have anything to prove.

I tell the smart guys I come across today get smarter faster leave the heavy lifting to the folks that cant or won't take the time to educate themselves. No matter what trade you choose look for certification and specialty skills its the only way to go

National sales manager for sparta nutrition. I helped start this company from the ground up last year and we are now international. Hard work definitely pays off.

I'm sure you have, we're putting a lot of money into social media right now. About to drop 8 new products and a few reformulations on our products. They are great for the avid lifter that wants to use legal yet effective prohormones for an edge.
