I do NOT eat enough veggies. Like hardly any. I know I need to change that.

Just started adding green beans to two of my meals daily. Going grocery shopping later and getting kale, carrots, cucumber, celery and apples...to start blending a green smoothie every morning with breakfast.

How much vegetables/day does everyone here take in? Which ones?
 
I started adding more lately. A variety is all. Nothing specific, except no kale. Never tried it and have no desire to even though it seems to be trendy.
 
Don't knock Kale, you'd be surprised, I intend on growing it when I get my little.produce operation off the ground.

It is a tricky one to list eat as is, in a smoothie shake is one way,. (look at.tbe price on some kale chips, 4-6 oz. ain't shit by volume), but they flavor em' like any other chip, or seasoning /spice on the market.

And you can. See where a light bulb went in for me and my intent.

Kale sausage soup is one way, or just shred and add to any sort of soup & let cook down a bit, shredded or sliced /chopped and added to any stirfry combo is another way, it is a texture thing, but not bad at all.

Especially in an Italian sausage soup with a variety of other traditional veggies, and stewed tomatoes.

I'll chime in later , & offer up some simple ways to get veggies in, "and" love em' they go a long way towards leanness, "Big-time" , couple that with a clean diet, a lil' GH. & Test, I sport a six pack.year round, not shredded, ( bulking now), if ya want to call.it that, I don't go over board.

But I attribute this to my veggies intake,. Raw is better.

**** I Love Raw broccoli crowns with peanut butter smeared in top, (not ranch dressing )

Even tho ranch is fine, if ya have to...But, no turning back once you've tried it..! It's a great snack.

Yeah, I get it, they used to be "Garnishes" and that's it..!

Plated on the side of a sandwich, or whatever with the. Orange slices twist, for looks...! Now, it's a craze...

(Lightbulb....) ....!!! $$$$

Seriously, look and see how much a little 6oz. Flavored dehydrated Kale chip is, cha-chingo, and easy as shit to grow
 
Passivated broccoli + rice noodles + chicken breast or salad: cabbage + carrot + spinach + lemon together with any meat poultry or fish. 4-5 times a day.

Broccoli is my go too veggie...eat it nearly everyday. I go for cabbage, brussel sprouts, califlower, carrots, green beans, bell peppers, plain tomatoes not so much but like making my own pasta/pizza sauce, avocados,....I could go on.

Yep...! Same here, all that stuff, love it all, eggplant too, grew a few Variety two years ago, along with Brussels, them Brussels were the best ever. Hope to emulate it again this next growing season

I pretty much grew up on eggplant Parmesan(sp.), straight from the garden to the pan. Haven't had it in years though.
 
Brocilli and green beans all day long here eat one or the other with every meal,,,also I'm with y'all on the spinach w eggs! Fukn good man gonna have that tomorrow in the AM been too long...
 
Same here dude..add a little red bell pepper and a pinch of feta cheese....my favorite breakfast.

Now, that sounds F'in darn good, I like feta too, love Greek salad , but I also.love a good Cobb salad with field greens ( romaine, "not" head lettuce) extra hard-boiled eggs, chx, or. Turkey ..{ doesn't matter } and hickory smoked , or apple-wood bacon. Extra sliced of Avacado for me please.

The only thing that could be any better with the scrambled eggs were talking about above , would be sauteed mushrooms, sliced "garden* tomatoes & Avacado on the side , with a lil' himylayan sea salt & cracked pepper.

Oh yeah, guess what I'm fixing for breakfast when I get home in the morning...? You got it...!

Eat em everydag. Just finished up some collard greens, actually. But I have a salad(tomato, cucumber, onion and carrots) 3-4 times a week. Snack on broccoli, cauliflower, carrots all the time. Good, refreshing food. Well, flavored water, really.
 
How do you guys feel about frozen veggies? I have a hard time always doing fresh just because of prep... I'm a lazy mf'er
