All right, I'll man up and post my latest photos here. It's a long road ahead, but improvement has already been made. (If you think these are frightening, you should have seen me in 2008.)

Many thanks, guys. Means a lot to a chubby, sedentary 30-something who got the bug later in life.
 
I was a fat kid myself and got into the fitness bug at 13. Didn't get to lifting till 22 after recovering from a nervous breakdown.

Still got fat kid calves as well.
 
My calves have gotten compliments. Probably because they've spent 20 years carrying around fifty to eighty extra pounds.

You're my new best friend, ha ha. Brave man to sit through all that. The next one comes out ... whenever life's schedule allows. I need to find a way to make my living off those videos instead of having to earn a living AND make the videos. Ugh.

Training got rocky: This past week something went screwy in my left shoulder blade area - what I am calling, in my amateur status as a non-doctor, a pinched nerve. If I move a certain way, I get an unpleasant electric zing that runs through my shoulder and front left pec. I'm considering a deep-tissue massage as a first hypothesis for getting it cleared up. Some have said ice it, which I keep forgetting to sit still long enough to do.
 
Keep it up. Everybody has to start somewhere.
 
are you running a cycle? if so,what kind of cycle are you running?

No cycles of anything here. No plans to use steroids or HGH. I have protein powder, and creatine and glutamine for basic pre-and-post-workout supplementation.

good choice. no point in even attempting until you get closer to where you want to be. good luck and i'll be keeping an eye on the log!

In that case I'd better make another video episode and start logging my diet and workouts! :-D

Taken Monday May 2 at my gym - obviously after everyone was done using the cardio room and there was no risk of anyone coming in! Ha ha.
