What do normal humans (you guys) do before bed so you can sleep when you have thick snot in your nose that you have to keep getting up to blow every 30 minutes/hour?

What otc drugs/supps? Any tips? It's been three nights with shit sleep and it's killing me.

Are you sure you don’t have a sinus infection? Have you tried Flonase or Benadryl? I would make sure no infection. If it is then antibiotics

It's only been a week.
I had a sinus infection 30 days ago, used antibiotics on it. I probably have a small sinus infection again and I'm trying to beat it without antibiotics.

I know when I have a cold or issues with with a congested nose sometimes sleeping with with my head propped up helps. Have you considered and anti-histamine or decongestant prior to bed?

Considered it.
But pretty sure antihistamines and all that affect gains. So was wondering what your tricks were to get through it.

I understand you don't want anything that would hinder your workouts but not getting a good nights rest hinders gains as well.

Remember if you take the decongestant it is only short term....most likely a week.

I was hoping for some magical drug that wasn't an antihistamine, basically.

Tussin x and extra elevation helps with the draining. I sometimes sleep in my recliner sitting w only a slight negative angle and that helps tons!!

Also try putting some vics on your chest and forehead also. If nothing improves in the next couple of days I’d go back to the doc. It’s not uncommon for me to need a couple rounds of antibiotics for my sinus infections

Nettle pot wash sinuses. Many types.
I use flonase 2 squirts always with clatitin every night. Haven't had sinus infection or much snot in years!!

Did have some minor ones and needed antibiotics and wasn't cutting it so used prednisone 15-30mg a day for 1 week and drained it. I would get pressure that had no drainage.

On top clatitin and flonase chlorpheniramine helps
And phenylephine to clear.

It's depends on if cold, allergy or sinus. Or all and each make other worse.
Infection will be pressure in pallet, teeth and around eyes when bending over. Infection needs antibiotics

What antibiotics?? Mrsa can infect sinus and other strep and staph strains resistant to amoxicillin or zpack.
Ceplalexin or clindamycin works when rest fail for me. Doxy too but too dam slow acting when I am suffering.

Sounds like u got rebound of infection starting because antibiotic of choice was not enough only wounded it because of resistance. I would retreat

Guys antibiotics cause definite neurological damage:

Antibiotics should be our last resort.
