Anyone into watching all the shark research shows?
I can't figure some guys jump in the ocean no cage with massive great white or tiger or hammerheads ? No protection just punch lol
Then you got guys in cage where the sharks attack the cage ????

I'm a shark week fan. Love watching films about the great whites. I can't figure it out either, some of those videos show the sharks not being the mindless killing machines when people swim with them
but sure enough, I routinely see the news of someone getting attacked while swimming or surfing.

Yeah they had two guys tagging tiger sharks and when they came too close they hit , then suddenly they are surrounded by bull great white giant hammer head then they say maybe time to go up ????
Two other marine biologist in these moving cages and the sharks are biting and pulling the steel , these other guys on rubber raft the sharks bite n deflate I'm talking it happens on the shows ??

Love shark week, some of the shows are on year after year...like "Seal Island" because its an entire hour of "oh look at the cute seal...he's out for a swim... BAM! Now he's 10 feet in the air, now he's bit in half." What irked me was "crocodile vs shark" and its a 12 foot salt water croc sharing the shallows with 5 foot "nurse sharks" and "lemon sharks". Fuckin "lemon shark"? Put that fuckn croc out with the great white or hammerhead or Bull, or Mako.

Think its funny how they say sharks hardly ever attack and kill humans and how rare it is. Yet think how often are humans near sharks in water at night when they are feeding? And every time a ship goes down the sharks eat the fuck out of survivors. Like the Indianapolis disater where they showed up once they realized there was hundreds of bodies eaten...
Anyways I live in the northeast and there was never any great whites around our beach areas now they are all over and had a few attcks over last couple years. Sure they say they bite by mistake , hunting for seals, but if your out in deep water and they are hungry your fkd. That being said I think we need to protect them of course and would love to cage dive one day. Also watch ' THE REEF" if you havent yet and ya like shark movies...based on true story supposedly and I though it was pretty good.

The wife and I love shark week. We are going cage diving in Hawaii in a few weeks. Fucking pumped!!!!

That's freaking awesome brother, I'm a certified scuba diver, have been for 20+, maybe more years, and have always wanted to, and may still do so when I can.

I've ship wreck dove Tobermory up in Canada, the Keys in Fla., Catalina Island Cali, still. Would love Tondonyard an excursion like that, let us know how it went.

Im envious ...!

Anybody here in this thread go see 47 meters...?

Me & my daughter saw it week b4 last, a little intense, and kind of weird ending which I won't blow, for those who hadn't seen yet, and may want to..
