I don't fully understand. Is this beneficial on no?. If it returns the red cells, I am guessing it wouldn't help with high hemotocrit.

Interesting as well...the body will burn approximately 600 calories when one pint of blood is donated.

Hey I lowered my hemo 8 points too now stay off liver pills no issue since . I’m sure you eat well and replace what is needed . I do regular now it’s like I’m normal just see doc regular

Though your question is relative - it depends on you . Like everyone we are all living our own life and things effect us somewhat differently

So I’m not sure about plasma donations, but i know with platelet donations the red cells are returned but some red blood cells are destroyed in the process of separating the platelets from the blood before its return back to you. Which is why platelet donation lowers RBC and H/H. And to an even more extent than blood donation because more blood is used during the process.
