I've been eating these quite often and the deserve a write up.

1/4 cup - Kodiak Power Pancakes (buttermilk protein packed)
1 extra lg or jumbo egg
1 tsp cinnamon (saigon or at least ceylon)
1-2 tbsp protein powder - flavor of your choice (I prefer chocolate, snickerdoodle, peanut butter)
milk - to desired consistency

I mix everything except the milk and add the milk until it is pancake consistency and then toss in the skillet or waffle maker

Macro breakdown:

Carbs 15g
Protein 20g
Fat 15g

Take some fresh or frozen blue or blackberries add them to a small bowl with a dash of cinnamon and honey, place in microwave for 30secs for a delicious topping (not included in macro breakdown). Or you can top with natural PB (I do the fruit on workout days and PB on off days).

I'm lazy so when I'm actually eating good, I use Met-RX pancake mix. It's really good stuff, just add water and cook! I'll have to give your recipe a try though.

I've used P28 mix before, but it was a bit pricey at $12 a can/pack. The Kodiak stuff is 4.99 and quite versitile. The same recipe above can be used to make a cake or muffins, adjust the consistency slightly and add some butter you got cake/muffin mix. Hope you like this.

Actually the Kodiak just mixed with water is still like 14g of protein per serving. You don't have to add all the extra stuff to it. It just adds protein and makes it taste a little better.

I make my own blend using whole oats flour, egg whites, baking soda and 0% greek yoghurt.
Five pancakes provide 53g of carbs, 54g of protein and only 6g of fats. Best meal ever

Can you please post specific measurements for the ingredients? I like that macro breakdown!

Thx,,,c587

Just have so eggs and bacon with your pancakes. Or have steak and eggs for breakfast. No need for fancy protein pancakes. I would imagine it makes the pancakes taste pretty nasty anyway.

Ya I hear ya. I usually do 8 eggs and 2 wheat tortillas. Just get bored and I enjoy cooking new things.

I use the same stuff, super easy to use and no worry of messing it up lol

70g of oats flour, 250g of egg whites, 150g of 0% natural greek yoghurt and half teaspoon of baking soda. The yoghurt and baking soda will make the pancakes naturally rise. Mix the flour and baking soda first and then gradually add the whites while manually blending the mix with a fork. Finally add the yoghurt to give the cream the right density to be gently spread out in the frying pan.
Cheers

Wrong, brother. If done correctly, they taste delicious. With a tablespoon of maple sirup on top they taste like a cake
