To give you all an update.. This is the text I just got from my new AD.. "Well it's gonna be reality soon and we think you have what it takes to be successful and bring back the powerhouse we once were."

First...congrats. Sounds like the school's administration is on board now make sure the boosters are functional.
Second...get the hell out of these forums. Now. Don't give anyone a reason to level any accusations because no matter what kind of reception you're getting, there are those involved in the program who wanted "the other guy".

Ok Brothers,

I know I haven't been posting much the last few weeks, and hoping that will change soon enough.

The reason why I am asking for positive thoughts is that I was named a finalist for a Football Head Coaching job for our largest classification in the state. Word has gotten out that I am the clubhouse leader. I meet the staff and players tomorrow. Also, touring the campus. This would be a huge get as I finally get to prove to everyone they shouldn't have passed me over.

I appreciate any and all positivity over the next 24hrs.

late to party... Are you saying that you may be the next Vol head coach? Holy shit, that is like CEO status of fortune 500 company. I used to live in Knoxville and Lenoir City (never again will I step foot back in Lenoir City as I was too dark skinned, but this was mid 90s but I bet nothing has changed lol) when Payton Manning was god status there. All I see is orange during football season lol.

I hope and get this job brother. And if not, I bet it'll open up other doors. (selfish of me to say this...I want to be be friends with head coach of Vols so I can convince myself that I am a cool dude lol)

Congrats for making it this far....and both you and I know that competition is cut throat and to make it this far means you have been doing something right.
