FYI, OSHA has publically come out stated that post accident drug screens are no longer a good practice. Onpy in cases where it is believed the employee was under inpairement and that impairement caused the Incident. Most contractors have not yet adopted this policy, but it is slowly making its way acriss Insurance Companies. My current Project is currently discussing this as we move into future phases. Not that it has any bearing on your situation, but I thought Id throw it out there. I am in Occupational Safety and Health and work as a Work Comp coordinator for construction projects.

Well they terminated me guys. I'm just praying it was for the better. I'm hoping I can get a spot in the union or something

More than likely they got the second test because they screwed up and didnt order an instant the first time around. Company policy probably requires it for post accident, so to right the wrong they pay for instant.
Doesnt matter though...hope OP finds a gig.
in todays enviorment with construction everybody is one accident away from unemployment. somewhere you signed a paper stating you where trained most likely and they deemed the accident was your fault as not following proper protocol thus letting you go. one reason you an expendable asset and two by letting you go it makes every one else afraid to mess up so they all will check and double check there riggings atleast for a while.
take it with a grain of salt. if its busy you'll find work if not then you may have to travel for a bit or find something else for a bit but good news is every thing works out in the end. good luck

We should be ok I have a lot of experience with many different trades and a lot of buddies that can help me get hired quickly. It's just looking for that perfect spot. I just hope it happens fast

No I'm hoping this was a blessing in disguise I've had problems with this company since I've been here for over a year now it's just been up and down the whole time. It payed the bills, but I'm going for something more then that. Plus they like to pick favorites and I hate that shit

Im sick of working for people the employee thst sucks dick gets all the perks. Im dead set of working for myself in the next couple years i habe a couple plans and ideas. What i realize is i wanna be happy doing what i do fuck this routine shit
