Hey, been lurking here for a while; have used one of the vendors, Private Label, with success several times. Was referred here by Muscle Mechanic and see a familiar handle in Iron-Game. I am EMW14 from another of the boards.
I'm 48; 5-10; 200 lbs, maybe 13% bf. Started bodybuilding as a teen; was Teen Mr East Coast in 1989; placed 2nd in the teen Mr Delaware Valley and 3rd in teen Mr Trenton of the same year. Of course, the field was limited, so placing high was fairly easy... At that time I was about 170 contest ready (was 186 at my heaviest then) and 100% natural. Took 2 weeks off following my last contest (the East Coast) - that turnwd into a 20 year break! Been back training for a pretty solid 10 years.
Been on TRT for around 5 years, started adding in Masteron during the past year. Finding what works best for me has been an ongoing science project! In general, I've found that I don't respond real well to high doses of test - believe it or not, too much test and I end up impotent. But I'm finding adding mast helps me greatly. I'm currently running a "base" of 200 mg test cyp with 700mg mast e, split into half doses Fri/Tues; plus a little booster of test P and mast P. Like 20-30mg tp + 50mg mp also on F/T. This is working pretty well. I'm experimemting with adding another "booster" in between, so basically eod with the short esters. I really want to give MENT a try, have read very positive things about it.
I generally follow a low carb diet and am gluten as well as lactose intolerant. So, meat, eggs and vegetables are my staples. Carbs thrown in as needed every few days (or every day if I'm not being disciplined) but usially only once per day. Sweet potato; rice (brown or white); occasional red skin potato... I'm trying to get leaner, want to see 8% or less but would likr to stay at 200 lbs. So, I have some muscle to gain.
Training lately is sporadic, because of work becoming increasingly demanding along with a business venture my wife and I have started. But I'm still at it. Been doing conditioning with a trainer, HIIT; Tabata, etc. That's good for me... Also, I play ice hockey. Try to keep that at once per week as schedule permits.
There you go, that's probably way more than you wanted to read. If you're still with me, thanks for sticking it out! LOL!
Glad to be here, hope to keep learning and hopefully share a little knowledge myself.
