LOOKING FOR ADVICE ON METFORMIN - 10 days out from COMP.

Hey guys looking for advice using GDA to not have to crash carb cycle the last couple days before my show. This is what I am thinking of doing. Right now I have 850mg metormin rapid release tabs. I am 9 days out and i need to start to glycogen deplete and load for the show, yet I don't handle low carb/ 0 carbs diets well. I feel like absolute shit and I get super pissed. This is not going to fly with my work and with being social so I was thinking of using a GDA to get modest carbs in for a short period of time without having to go 0 carbs cycle. Here is what I am thinking of doing. please feel free to comment and critizse. My goal is to get to 223lbs by Saturday Morning day of the show. Right now I was 225.6lbs after my fasted morning workout.

Plan with Metformin.

Wednesday 10 Days out: 150mg of Carbs - 425mg of Metformin (modest carb day)

Thursday 9 Days out: 500mg of Carbs- 850mg of Metormin (high carb day)

Friday 8 Days out: 150mg of Carbs - 425mg of Metformin (modest carb day)

Saturday 7 Days out: 150mg of Carbs - 425mg of Metformin (modest carb day)

Sunday 6 Days out: 150mg of Carbs - 425mg of Metformin (modest carb day)

Monday 5 Days out: 500mg of Carbs- 850mg of Metormin (high carb day)

Tuesday 4 Days out: 150mg of Carbs - 425mg of Metformin (modest carb day)

Wednesday 3 Days out 500mg of Carbs- 850mg of Metormin (high carb day)

Thursday 2 Day Out: 150mg of Carbs- 425mg of Metormin (modest carb day)

Friday 1 Day Out 50-100mg of carbs- 222.5mg of metformin (low carb day)

Saturday 9am - Pre Judging: LOAD in the morning no metformin

whenever I drop carbs I will increase protein and when i bump carbs i will decrease protein; fats stay the same more or less 50g per day from derived sources, not added i.e. eggs, meats, salmon ...
 
ps. I cannot load the night before bc there are no weighins the night prior. So I have to stay tight so I don't spill over and don't make the HW and the Classic Physique D class cutoffs of less than 225lbs
 
Don't try too deplete with metformin unless you have done it too many variable and it could blow up in your face

Metformin reacts a little different in some people you could fill out perfect or end up in a flat hole

Something that works but definitely need too play with it before hand too find out how you respond huge gamble

Hey buddy, Did you get Meformin? Do you sitill need? I assume your good because your show is only days away if I read your post correctly.

Thank you for laying out how you'll use Metformin as I've been curious about it but now even more curious since I just got spoon feed lol, but serious Thank you.

yeah. I've been using it. working fine so far. my carbs are not very high but I am still within my competition weight and losing some lbs but not much. mostly varies with water intake and what time i take my last meal.

Good to hear. So is this your pea week? I've never competed, but did a "WTF is supposed to peak during this week". I got great advice 2 days before over b/c I didn't research until I had about 10 days left. Good for you to keep on trucking towards to goal.

hahah thanks bro. thinks are okay right now. might leave the metformin out today actually. I am running Phentermine right now from Private labs and its killed my sugar cravings so might just ahead and go low carb the old fashioned way from today on out. :)
