Long Term Issues

I will try to keep it short and sweet.

Head injury about 15 years ago threw my hormones out of whack (if you need more info let me know). MD put me 200 mg/EOW and over the course of a year and a half tethered me up to 600 mg/EOW. I stayed at this dose for approximately 10 years before I realized how over the top this was. My main question is, other than sterility, is there any complications you would worry about and look into? I feel like my cardio has become progressively more and more shit over the recent years and just hope this isn't due to pump issues.

Any long term users that can help me sort through this? Any help would be great. Thanks fellas.

Wow! Doc is nuts! Guessin no support meds/supps either huh? Thats a low dose ten year cycle. Id go get bloods first and foremost. See where u are at. This is CRUCIAL! I personally like 150-200 per week. What r u doin now? Abused PED use can cause a ton of different issues/problems and it all starts with blood work. Do the whole damn thing. Spend the money. When u get em post em up and Im sure a ton of knowledgable dudes on here will offer their concerns/knowledge.

You are correct, no support meds/supps. You can see why I turned to fellas like yourself rather than continuing to see MDs over and over. Been running milk thistle and tudca for a good while now.

I'm currently coming off everything. I was running 200 a week until last week was my last pin. I'm hoping that I am able to get my own test back running. I was able to when my wife and I had kids. Been on TRT for 2.5 years since that, but Mrs is wanting to have another kid. When would you run the bloods? After PCT? What is the name of the panel you would recommend? The full male hormone panel?

This is my most recent blood work when I started TRT again. As you can tell by my test 250 mg/week was far too much. Tapered it down.

Was this a PCP that did this to you?. I bet an endocrinologist could help you get your natural testosterone back.

How irresponsible of your doc! Levels arent crazy but RBC’s and Kidney function can be an issue along with your LH, FSH levels. If me E was that low also I feel tired all the time. How do u feel? HCG will kick start the boys but you should see an endo and get it all straight. I would jump on PCT protocol now or keep pinnin a cruise dose until I got in to a doc. I wouldnt go cold turkey.

It started as an endo and then transitioned to a PCP. It was a pituitary injury that ruined me for a couple years. Turns out they take a while to heal. I'll look into another endo if I can't get it flying again.

When would you do the full male panel? After PCT?

How irresponsible of your doc! Levels arent crazy high but Id get your RBC’s down by donating blood and have your kidney functioning checked. HCG will keep the boys runnin. Id jump on PCT protocol immediately or keep pinning cruise test until u get to an endo who can straighten things out for ya. I wouldnt go cold turkey after 10 years.

I came off a couple years ago to knock up the Mrs. Took a bit but got the boys fired back up. You wouldn't be worried about pump issues? I've read some stuff that long time gear use without proper cycling can do bad things for the heart.

I have since been giving blood frequently since that panel to get the RBC down. I was too high at first that they wouldn't take me, so I bled myself out about 8-10 oz of blood in the kitchen sink and hydrated like crazy and was still at upper end the following day. Now that I donate every two months it stays fairly normal. I am also not taking 600 EOW, more like 200 a week right now.

Do you have kidney function done with blood work? Or is it a separate test?

The one I posted was a female panel. Just didn't know if there would be a need for the full male panel that is like $300 or something.

No need for the male panel. I think they only exclude like lipids really. Heart is always a concern with long term improper use as it too is a muscle. I recently had an xray and mri done on mine to ensure it was still measuring in the normal range. I told them I was having breathing issues while doing cardio out of thin air so they checked my lungs and heart. As far as the kidneys....levels can be higher for body builders / protein use blah blah blah but my doc handles testing on those for me also. I have an endo for the script. Thats it. My family physician does all the rest and monitors everything because he actually understands it is more than just supping w exo test. Hormones are a delicate balance. My family physician was a god send after two massive endo fails. He told me not to do it but when I told him I am going to anyway and want to be responsible he said he couldnt stop me but would ensure I wasnt killing myself also. Find a male dox with a sports or lifting back-round and all will be well.

Very high ALT. Are you on any other meds? (Pills, booze)?
I run 200 mg test a week, and my AST/ALT comes out in perfect range every time.
I know everyone is different, just curious if Test (low dose) is known to mess up liver values?

This comment is a general comment aimed at fairly healthy folks and was on a 500mg EOW cycle for close to 2 years. You'll be fine.

It'll take some time for your body to go back to its desired state, normalcy (not sure if that is a word lol). So during this time that your doc was giving you a green light to sue his ASS, your body was constantly trying to adjust to find its new normal state. You'll be surprise how much damage your body can take and the length of time your body can endure and still recover in due time.

I would be anything that there are MANY folks that were on higher dose along with more compounds without AI or PCT....this is known as the golden age lol (just kidding). Please someone correct me if I am wrong but back in days, AI and PCT wasn't an Anabolic SOP along w/ pre mid and post cycle bloodwork.

I am saying this to not freak you out, but also not to sweep under rug because Your health is the most important thing to you! As you'll need your health to handle your responsibilities in life

Yea live and learn. We use to think opiates were the nest way to handle a cough, whiskey for tooth aches, and smoking was thought to be a healthy status symbol of wealth along with gluttony. Thank God for evolution and Darwinism. OP youll be good to go. You caught it now you just need to deal w it.

Negative. At the time I was on nothing but a little bit too much test. Dropped it since though.

Thanks bro. Still trying to find when you all think would be best to do my next panel? Wait until I am back on gear and at a TRT dose that I think I will be on long term? Or do it after PCT? Or both?

I'm confused. Thought you gonna do a PCT and try to get your natty test back. Google, "Clomid Restart". That should give plenty of information if you want to try it yourself.

Correct. I do want to get my boys working again. Really it is only because the Mrs is wanting to get prego. Down the road I imagine I would go back to TRT as I feel a 1000x better when dosed correctly.

Should have zero affect. His organs are stressed and as we all know everything os connected.

Some of them I can read fine. The ALT was a little high yeah. That could be from anything though. It can get much much much higher than that. It could mean absolutely nothing. Depends on the person. Everyone isn't going to be the same. AST or ALT one of them can be raised from lifting heavy.
