Inconsiderate, Obnoxious Gym Etiquette

Some people and not to make it a race thing, but some cultures esp tend to be so obnoxious and rude when it comes to just common courtesy in gym amenities.

Like the sauna. Does anybody not think its incredibly rude and obnoxious when people have loud, full blown conversations in other languages in close proximity to you? Especially somewhere like the sauna, which is meant for relaxing? Or talking on the phone?

I go in the sauna today, its a rest day and that's ALL i am there for- some Vietnamese lady is just laying down in there carrying on with a loud phone convo in Vietnamese for like 20 min.

After enduring that, she goes on to put her phone on some Vietnamese podcast or radio show and just lays it on her stomach and blasts it, chopping in and out. I just got up and left.

Do people really have no shame or am i wrong for being annoyed by this?

Its unfortunate that some people just don't care and how inconsiderate they are to those around them. They may not see what they are doing because they are so focused on their lives they don’t stop to see what impact a simple sentence has on another individual.

People love to think about themselves, and they honestly don’t even realize that people are there. People are so in love with themselves they think the world revolves around them. That’s why nobody cares that you do something stupid, because they are too worried about whether they will do something stupid themselves.

I call them 'stupid blind people'. They don't care about the things which are important for others too.

Aside from this lady... I think the whole having conversations in other languages around other people is rude as fuck, too. And this is coming from someone who is bi-lingual

I never go in the sauna. I hate humidity and already sweat too much normally. Plus it's a tiny space and I hate enclosed spaces like that. I had to have an MRI of my brain and the first time I tried and screamed at them to "GET ME OUTTA HERE!". I had to have them call my doctor and come back a week later on medication.

Good gym etiquette has LONG been gone since the early 90's buddy.. I have seen it all like you just stated and more so in the gym itself. There is NO consideration for others and everyone is better then others..
Its a shame as it was good back then when all helped out, had great chats, NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED either and people worked out normally. Now days, Its pathetic beyond words and I see it not getting
better either. I have to bite my tongue all the time when these idiot assholes who have NO clue WTF they are doing are constantly around.. I could go on but why bother, I'm sure others know what I am talking about..

If the Dumbells are to heavy for you to return to their respective place, go ask one of the young ladies at the front desk.. they'll put em up for your lame punk ass bitch ass.. then, banned for a week til they can get it right.

Where I live a Sauna is part of the culture so many people have them, there’s even two local places that sell mobile saunas. Saunas are nice but usually it’s a bunch of guys drinking beer and chillin you mentioned an Asian chic in there with you, was she hot no pun intended

It definitely is a culture problem. In Chinatown the guys smoke and gamble all day while there wives gives handys at the spa. They super abusive toward there women and just rude AF in general. Don't get me started on innercity ghettos of Chicago. They say morherfucker like most people say hello
