I need your prayers

Yesterday after fighting parvo for 3 days in a hospital, my bull mastiff puppy Arlo died. I posted here all the pictures when i went to get him and all the troubles that i went thru with the other dogs i have and him. Am great full that i spent so much time with him, i kept picking him up and telling him let me hold you while i can ...you are about to get too heavy. Yesterday when the doctor called me to tell me about his death i felt very angry and pain seemed to be unbearable, am well today and grateful to The Lord that allowed me to have an amazing month of life with ARLO.

Pastor....I'm am so sorry do hear this. I just find it so amazing how we can get so attached to an animal and include them as part of our family. We have a small dog who is not in the greatest of health right now being 14y/o and I am dreading the day when it comes....especially for my wife. IMO dogs are truly 'Mans's Best Friend'. They give absolute unconditional love no matter how bad a day you had....they are always there to greet you regardless of any conditions. I had a dog when I was younger and had to make the decision of putting him down. It wasn't much of a decision because he was in constant pain but to actually say 'yes it is time' was one of the hardest moments of my life....and then not having him greet me wagging his tail when I got home(he was basically bed ridden at that point) was a crushing blow to my heart.

I feel for you my friend and thats a position that all dog owners will have to be in at some point.

But ask your self this...and I tell my wife the same...'Did I give Arlo the best time he could have during his short life, was I the best daddy for him while he was here, did he have fun while living?' If yes...than you did your job as a parent for him and you know that Arlo is grateful for that.

I pray for our little Spanky everyday and that I ask God to give him comfort(he has numerous health issues) and I ask God to let Spanky know the mommy and daddy are here for him no matter what.

I'll pray for you and your family's comfort so that God can give you strength to make it through this difficult time. I pray the best for you and your family and that God give you faith in knowing that no one could have done a better job as parent for Arlo.

That is a shame. Nothing I can really say to help, parvo is a terrible way to go. My sister lost most of a litter of pups to it a few years ago and I managed to nurse one through from the same litter. I had to keep him in the laundry room because of the obvious reasons, anyone familiar with parvo knows what I'm talking about. Then a few years later a neighbor shot him 21 times with a.22. I came very close to homicide that day, especially when she kept calling me harassing me and my then wife. I finally explained to her that everybody has guns and many carry much larger ones than a.22. The same woman killed another neighbors dog. I should have sued her but I was so upset having to carry Heifer to bury him, yes I named him heifer cuz when he was a puppy he looked like a little cow to me. Sorry for your loss man.

The bond dog owner's share with their canine counterparts is so incredibly strong. They truly become a part of the family. Light and love to you brother. I hope solace finds you sooner than you expect.

Good lord, horrific. All the best to you, I know how painful it can be. Some people arent animal lovers, I happen to be one.
My dog Luna passed suddenly on Xmas morning in front of us all, she was just to about to turn 3.

I just started looking at pics of her again because I couldnt stand the sorrow if I saw one. Animals > People.

Feeling your pain bud, all the best to you...

That’s sad. Dogs are like kids, I love dogs and it seems like they can sniff out a good person and a bad one!! Amazing how a dog can really cure things what people may be going threw, nothing like chilling and watching a movie with a pup on ur side!!

Omg pastor I hear . I love animals. I volunteer at two shelters ( adoption ) and the zoo . I enrolled in veterinarian assistant program paid in full yesterday. At age 52 .

My love if my life Xena - warrior princess assassin over 30 mice first 22 weeks in my apartment now ten years old . No pests present , kills flies and misquotoes and ants and has fake toy mice to play with hone skills . She’s old so playful I forget how old - I try not to think of losing just enjoy our time as these 10 years are best of life because if my cat . My apartment is catified with walkways tunnels , cat houses but at night relaxing she either sits with me or sleeps in my armpit always has to lays closely lmao . How do you deal with that because I don’t know how I will when time comes . At shelter I get attached to some hard to leave I only know they will eventually find home . For all don’t know / a rescue shelter is the best place to find your pet family member - not pet store and in many cases not a breeder. Why ? Certain breeds have prone to health issues . Usually calico or tabby domestic breed is mixed and at have higher history of good health . Adopting may cost around $100 but includes the vets check , all vaccines . Then yearly checks get boosters . Personally I get best quality food variety make sure get all appropriate nutrients and don’t over feed. Over fed pets get diabetes , arthritis etc .
Pastor my heart is with you . Handsome dog . Heartwrenching to imagine how you feel . I truly hope that so called rainbow exists .

Hey while we’re here any group of us wanting to group buy huge home so we can have many pets we want huge yard . Prefer in Massachusetts but hey enough I’ll relocate . I got cat took months find landlord allow me to keep her . Can’t get house alone no wife no kids either to support

Im so sorry man!! this broke my heart, your pup was to young to pass!! he was such a beautiful looking dog !! I wish I could help ease the pain your feeling right now!!! you and your pup have my prayers!!
