Great post Motor City. I know all about low blood sugar, I'm type 1 diabetic, it sucks balls. It's all a juggling act to keep your bloods right, as with gear... Good advice to have glucose tabs with you at all times when using insulin. But I've never heard of shoving honey up your ass, wtf??? Lol...Very "Good" but lengthy info there DS01,
Might I add to , in the event you donuse insulin.
Do yourself a favor , and let it be known by (to ) a trusted individual who could be around to Jeep an eye on you shod trouble arise. I'm talking hypo, where you either administered too much, and failed to get adequate carbs in ya "right -away" ...!
*** Also, besides glucose tabs.., keep a HoneyBear of Honey around at all times. Or a can of Coca Cola with Sugar . Or individual honey packets.
Should you feel hypo coming on, ( and you'll know it, you be sweating beads off your head, back, & just start feeling all around clammy, your tongue could , and will get numb.
Better move quickly at this point to get sugar in you fast. Jelly, ww toast no butter , water Gatorade etc.
& Try n relax , til it subsides .
The Honey Bear like the one I'm going to post (pic)
Will be a last resort , in an "Emergency" is what I mean.
You had better have someone Shove this up your keester .
"YES" a HoneyBear { Hiney Bear } seriously..!
& Squeeze that honey up the rectum. View attachment 8643
May just save a life...! That's how serious Insulin can be..!
If not careful & follow proper protocol & not get stupid With it.
Then, insulin sensitivity is another gammot, you need to be aware of 4 weeks on, two off. & Keep it to 4-5 days only
& Insulin sensitivity shouldn't be an issue.
Metformin/Glucaphage can improve sensitivity, but do not use together. Use on thise two weeks off.
