How to Sumo Deadlift with Ed Coan

great video bro... I dead sumo as when I first learned the deadlift my older bro showed me and I couldn't do conventional form correct the first time he showed me so he just had me do sumo. It's felt comfortable and normal though sometimes conventional feels better depending on the day. After 10 plus yrs of sumo deadlifting you'd think its automatic but some days you just cant get the feeling right. Sometimes I do conventional and I can normally be within 50 lbs or so without even training it often. Kind of funny as some lifters talk shit about sumo though many of the greats have lifted sumo either in meets or at least in alternate lifts in training. ...its all about your build and what muscles are genetically stronger in an individual. I really think if I took the time I'd be stronger at conventional because I never do them but catch up so quick when training it eow for 8 weeks or so...But when I go 1-3rm heavy my back rounds...So i'd have to spend time doing volume with lighter weights to strengthen weaknesses and learn the form better. All that time I could be upping my sumo. But it is best to do BOTH!!!
