How much cardio do you guys do?

I was going to say you better look fantastic if you have that much discipline, and then I saw your avatar. Looks like it pays off.

How old are you if you don't mind me asking? That's a lot of cardio; what's your HIIT routine look like? Have a link somewhere?

Some people call it discipline, but that sounds like a chore. To me it’s just a fun hobby. Challenging myself and looking a certain way is something I really enjoy. I’m a perfectionist and very ocd about my physique. I guess in some egotistical way, I like the attention I get.... don’t we all lol

I’m 36. I like to be lean and keep my waist at a 31. I don’t like to get over 220lbs. I prefer to stay at 215-218. Otherwise without a lot of cardio I can start to lose my tightness and definition and look bulky. I prefer to be lean and dry. But my diet is very clean and macros are in check.

My HIIT is just something I made up. Goes like this

5 pull-ups
5 leg raises
10 box side step ups(5 each leg)
10 push-ups
10 dips
10 lunges (5 each leg)
High knees for 30 seconds
10 jumping jacks

Rest for one minute and repeat. I set a timer for 30 minutes. I get through it about 7-8 times but I go a bit slower to keep good form.

Depends on what I’m trying to achieve. If I’m cutting I try to do 20 minutes after I workout keeping my heart rate at 135 bpm. If bulking I do cardio 3 times a week after I workout for 20 minutes keeping my heart rate at about 125-130 bpm

Fantastic.

Just curious. I was doing 30 min 6x/week this past summer and felt great. BP was lower than ever, stamina was up, etc.

I have slacked off the past few months because two of my buddies starting training with me and I don't have time to squeeze in cardio at the end. When I start prepping for my June show I will obviously pump up the cardio.
I do no cardio as far as any type of running or elliptical or bike... my cardio is incorporated into my lifting routine... I don't rest at all unless it's walking from machine to machine or weights... for 45 min every day
