I am running 10-15iu of hgh ED i split my doses into 3-4 iu / dose and pin every 4 hours. I am thinking of using glucophage (metformin) to help with insulin resistance that will come from using such dosages bc i feel that i am not ready to go for slin yet as i do not know the protocols like the back of my hand yet..My question is that I have heard that metformin hinders the livers ability to convert to IGF-1. How will this play a role since I am running such high levels of rHGH (am i wasting it or is it minuscule because of the amount and pulsing that i am doing in my protocol)? My diet is extremely clean sugars are very minimal and are timed out through out the day for when i believe my body will best utilize it from the foods in my diet. I am not that worried about it currently but as I see glucose levels rising I would like to know if this is the "safest" best alternative to using insulin. I have been finger prick testing every morning when I wake up to start learning how my body handles sugars and have the best plan of action for when the time comes. If anyone with any experience, research or stories would like to chime in, please do so! i am here to learn
