Getting Sick on Cycle

It drives me nuts if I catch cold or even once got the flu mid cycle.
I just got over a sinus infection on this one. Cost me a week but I feel really good.
What do you guys do about your cycle. For me----I consider it a "rest pause" and pick up and just go again.
Usually I get my bloods just to be sure.
