Favorite Winter Olympic event

Speed skating is pretty cool, so is biathalon; c'mon you ski then stop to shoot but my favorite is ski jump...take off of a hill at 50mph, travel the length of a football field, and land upright....that's bad-ass. Then you have bobsled, luge, but skeleton; when you're 80 mph, by yourself, head first...also bad-ass. Mrs U goes nuts for figure skating and ice dancing....yuck. And WTF did I see new this year...cheerleading???? F*** Off IOC....you already rammed snowboarding on us to get ratings.

Your right....there are so many cool events...stuff that you normally don't see until when the Olympics came around. For me I would have to say and any of the sledding events like bobsled, luge and skeleton.

Mine too, ski jump, always loved that, and watching the slalom contender's, that's kick ass as hell too, used to ski, miss it badly. I always thought when I was younger I'd be an Olympic skier, but you have to start very young, probably need rich parents. "And" a badass hill.to go to nearby nearly everyday. (Helicopter would be nice too..! ) $$$$$.

Yup, hockey all the way for me. Men's in particular.

But I like all the sledding and skiing events, too. Just watched some women's freestyle skiing last night. Oh, and the homosexual "men's" figure skating....... Didn't care for that all that much. Though I don't mind women's figure skating or even couples', in small enough doses....
