I've been cutting pretty hard since January, bodyfat is sub 10% at 178 pounds as of Thursday. I tend to isolate myself when I do an extreme cut probably like a lot of guys, its just easier I feel.

Well I promised a friend I would relax Thursday and have dinner with her and a couple drinks...(I dropped the winny on Sunday because I knew I would be consuming alcohol). So on Thursday we go out and I ate a burger and fries with a caramel ice cream sunday and a cheesecake pie. A couple hours later I drank 4 Mikes hard lemonade and hung out at my place with her.

Yesterday I notice my face looks "fat" I step on the scale and I am literally 201 pounds......23 pounds of water. This doesn't seem right.....i've had my share of cheat meals and yes even all out binges over the years and never had edema this severe. Could it be the alcoholic beverages messing with my kidneys? Like I said I dropped the winny 4 days earlier....my other gear is 1cc a day of test ace/tren ace/mast prop.

This morning I am still 200 on the scale.....Im gonna fast for 24 hours and see if that helps.....should I try and get a dyazide from someone and take the water off like that? Thanks for any input or advice guys!

Fasting is not a bad idea to reset things but never add a diuretic to the mix when you are trying to balance back out your water retention on a diet.
If anything, sweat it out.

I don’t understand why guys still say 1cc or 1ML of gear. 1cc/1ML could mean 250mg or 500mg or anything for that matter pretty much.

Are you using an AI? I can fluctuate 10-15 pounds on normal day. Add some alcohol and I’m sure I could get into the 20s.

Each cc of test ace / tren ace/ mast prop is 100mg....I use exemastane as needed but rarely need it....yeah I usually fluctuate about 10 pounds a day also, I tend to eat very low carb the fluctuations aren't too extreme.

Crap thats alot of water retention over a day. IMO hold off on the dyazide. You body should naturally rid itself of the excess water in time. It may take a couple days. You could try drinking a little more coffee, add a few more veggies in your diet if ya think it may help.

Hopefully it's just a rebound from being lean and splurging. I would get some blood work and check GFR and ACR just to be sure there's nothing going on there. Post blood work I would add 2grams of Astragalus 2x a day, morning and night.

I've gained 20-30 pounds during a carb up before. In fact it's pretty normal. It's usually gone in 2 days or less.

down 13 pounds from yesterday so it was definitely just massive water retention from the cheat meal....currently on hour 33 of fast may fast 48 hrs just drinking green tea and coffee....fasting i've found is the quickest way to let the body re-set itself.....gotta watch how crazy I go on cheat meals from now on when im too depleted

In this situation HCT has always been a God send for me. 48 hours later and I’m back to normal. Did you take BP readings when you were swollen because I’m sure you were way up there from the water retention.

Im glad you brought that up because my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest.....what is that from? I've been running 50mcg t3 this prep and thought maybe it was from that but when I am not in prep and im eating normal and i go out to dinner and have a big meal I dont remember ever having such an elevated heart beat.....why does it seem to happen when im lean and depleted?

King you put on 23lbs quick! How fast was it...overnight? Even if it's a week, that's going to make anyone's heart beat hard!! When you're lean and depleted you're most susceptible to adding weight on a cheat. Plus metabolism starts to make small changes with age...trust me, I know! LOL!!

Most def you were way elevated if you felt your heart beating. Edema is a major cause for elevated BP, they go hand in hand with each other. For many people with BP issues, the first line of defenses is HCT because they’re retaining water from a high sodium intake. There has been a huge movement over the past few years saying that high sodium won’t cause BP issues but that’s not totally true. High sodium causes water retention and that in return causes high BP so yeah, maybe sodium isn’t directly related to causing high BP but there is an indirect effect. Too many guys on this board mislead others to thinking they’re not related which is misinformation because they are indirectly related.
