Hey guys, can't get this to hold in just 2/20 with MCT at 75mg/ml. I would be happy to make it at 100mg/ml. Do I need Miglyol 840? Or Guiaicol? I have 10g left and need some serious help lol

What carrier? Your using a hot plate and reheating till all cyrstals are dissolved after adjustments? Dumping back to beaker and stirring or adjusting in vial. Maybe miscalculation on concentration? Next step add 5% G imo

2/23 with 840 should definitely hold, held for me at 2/20. But straight 840 gives alot ppl pip. 50/50 840/mct much better for pip but will hold a little less.

Id have to check the log but my recipe for 100mg i belive is
75/25 mct, 840

20bb
20eo

This just EO:
2%BA
10%BB (Seen people push this up to 20%)
50% EO
50% Mig840.

This EO and Guiacol:

20% BB
50/50 E.O. and carrier of choice

I think all of those will work but only one I would use is last one. The first two have no carrier oil, really just all solvent, eo and 840 are more like solvent then oil, and I think both are close in solubility. I would try 5% G first, think 10 overkill.

The recipe I posted is really like the classic 2ba, 20bb, 50/50 eo, carrier oil recipe as the 840 is so similar to eo.

Thanks for the info Pooh. What temp do you recommend I reach? With my wasted batch of DHB I got it up to about 275F and stirred for over 20 minutes

It's also not wasted bro . Add enough EO to make it 50 mgs . heat up first them add them reheat and filter again .

Melting point 195C(383F), displacement .97ml per gm

You could easily fix your failed batches, best with G so you have the least lose in concentration due to increased volume. 5% should do it.

This is a good idea if u can stand the smell .

The flash point of BA changed the melting point brother

To answer ur question about pip bro is impossible to do cause everybody is different bro . But for the most it should be pip free. When dealing with heavier compounds some can run them,and can't . As for I can't i,don't even like prop myself
