I own a small software services firm and decided to leverage my IT experience to develop my first app hoping to help those struggling with an addiction being so many are affected, dosent matter what the addiction they all lead down the same path. I am self funding this project and plan to use my contacts ive had the opportunity to network with help get me in front of the right people to get some venture capital after I have the functional prototype is done since the vision I have for it would require 100's of thousands of dollars to implement and keep it supported in production.
To summarize the app purpose, it is kinda like a social media platform that people in sobriety seeking sobriety, friends and family of those using app or just supporters of sober living can go create a profile and use it as an outlet to get and give support, have accountability from other members and also find local meetings, activities and resources within their community. There will be forums where people can Q&A, connect, relate.
