Lately i have been doing all kinds of different things that i never did before. Legs are my best body part, no matter what they always have good size and leanness so lately when i do legs i look for a way to burn extra calories since am at the last of this cutting cycle and i also know my legs will keep good size. I started last week using a light dead-lift as last exercise of the legs workout : 4 stes/ 20 reps...awesome. Has anybody else use dead-lifts for cutting?

Sound good basic moves burn most calories

Deadlifts underrated exercise. I sometimes begin my back with partial rack deads. However stiff deads ever since my spine reconciliation in 1995 were part of my rehab from surgery . In fact . At New England Baptist hospital Boston Ma was is noted for orthopedic surgery my doc considered one of Best on the planet - every one that had surgery on spine had to do stiff deads with lead crate floor to waist level on shelf then waist to shoulder but no one graduated from rehab until you were able to workout with 300% of body weight . So I still do modified version of my rehab almost 25 years later after lats. ( 90 degree hyper extension 3 X 25 hold top/ stiff deads 3 x 12-15
And some kind of machine lower back 3 x 15-25 with at least my body weight.) I threw away all belts wraps after surgery made my body its own belt and wraps lol plus I do woodcutters with cable 1-2 sets for transverse abdominals.
I think it’s all up to us to find how we do things and listen to our bodies . I’m sure all of you one one day has had a person say “ you losing weight waists looks tiny “ then hour later another “ what ? You eating too many carbs ? Your belly ???” Never listen to anyone but yourself that’s my mantra lol
