For the longest time i trained Monday thru Friday and rest Saturday and Sunday, i always trained for mass and size and ate clean to keep body fat under control.Recently i changed to 5 days cycle: train my whole body in 4 days and rest the fifth day, i also changed the training a lot including longer sets even up to circuit training, also that 5th day of rest is gone cause i have been doing cardio 7 days a week ; all this to give this cutting cycle my best shot...i also realize that it has become harder for me to lean out...am 54. As i just woke up and get ready to go to the gym am thinking to for this last 2 weeks just work out back to back.Once am done and go into TRT i will take a few days off the gym; after 4 weeks will start preparation for the show.
How are your days off and rest days?

Personally, I honestly don’t follow any set schedule. I go by how my body feels. Sometimes I’ll train 7 days a week but if I feel sore or like I cannot give 150% in my workout sometimes I’ll take 2-3 days off to rest. It all depends on how I feel that certain day. IMO there’s really no such thing as overtraining. Just under resting and under eating.
