Carnivore diet

Day 3 and nothing but meat, water and coffee! I'm not sure if all the meat or change of diet. But my bowel movements are different.
Without details, more like the runs. Is that normal?

On low carb you have to got supplement with Psylliums Husks. I used Now Foods Whole Psylliums combined with Wal-Mart brand Metamucil. I take a tablespoon of each everyday.

Entirely normal on both keto and carnivore initially. Bile (gall bladder function) is altered as are other factors related to digestion. 100% normal — head to the grindstone, patience, your body WILL adapt. Don’t add any fucking fiber nor try chasing it away any other way — it’s nornal... let your body adapt, it knows what to do. Trust it.

Thanks tb

You’re welcome Bro. You can (and should) add Himalayan pink salt and potassium use daily, because initially, ketosis is going to stimulate your kidneys to piss out your electrolytes. Hydrate well and drink your salts (and use pink salt on your meat).

Ok, feel tired, dragging and out of body kind of. Workout at gym was short and a struggle. Lol

Yup. You have to go through the process getting into ketosis. Once you use up all your glucose and stored glycogen (fat adapted), you’ll feel the surge begininning as you burn fat for fuel. And then you won’t have crazy cravings. If you get hungry, eat more meat, drink more water.

Here's kind of what I'm doing. Breakfast today was 2 egg whites,1 whole egg,2 turkey sausage patties, slice cheddar, 2 bacon and Irish butter.
My buddy owns a bar b q restaurant. So I get smoked chicken breast $5 lb. That's a lb. And it's just smoked chicken.
Supper last night was roast and chicken. And tonight I'm grilling deer cubes steak.

That sounds and looks fucking delicious!!!
I love chicken, and along with broccoli and rice, it was my main staple for a couple decades.
That said — If maximizing “carnivore” benefits is a goal, then chicken has to be limited use. Also, eating only (or mostly, rather than whole egg) egg whites serves no purpose. Reason being, both keto and carnivore require fats be your dominant macro. Eat the whole egg. Too high of protein, and the body will convert a portion to glucose via gluconeogenesis... and that will negate the benefits of ketones using fatty acids as it’s fuel source.

I'll cut back on chicken. And eat whole eggs. Tomorrow I'll get butt to eat at the bar b q. Here's tonight's course.

Good job, Ivery.
Stick with it, let it build discipline. The results become better and better. You have some adjustment time to go through still.
