I've not did diy yet. But yes I've been researching it. I cant donate to red cross due to hep c antibodies. I'll use life south next. Then my options are out. So this was my solution. Diy phlebotomy at home.

I don't donate, I have hep c antibody. But I gave u proper paperwork. U gotta be on trt from correct Dr who will give u secondary polycythemia order!!!
Even online TRT "Entourage Hormones" Dr told me he would give me order if I switched there....
U seeing wrong Dr's who don't know!!!

My wife donates because second part of questioner is if person was in remission and tested 2x in year after no viral load!!
So no problem. U gotta be on trt though and get order with forms it's FDA allowed for TRT secondary polycythemia even if u don't meet criteria to donate blood

I went to my doctor, and my test was to high. So I didnt get trt. Was going to go to a trt doctor. And they will give me the paperwork. But the cost was $100-$140 for phlebotomy. Through there referred facility.
And it was $300 just to see doctor.

I went with 73 test level..... off everything months
Had no problems pay 40$ copay to Dr every 6 months cause I meet insurance TRT criteria.

Ya im going to buy the kit. She has helped me out a few times already cause im an asshole. One example: 2 years ago I was doing flyes a bit on the shit this may be too heavy end and swung the right one up at a weird angle completely dislocating my elbow. It grossed me the fuck out amd I hot the Im gonna pass out mouth tingle spit. She called me a pussy and reduced it right there then told me told take a few advil and act like a man. Thankfully I healed right up.

Apple juice I get at blood bank. I drain a pint and overflow bag in 5 minutes...
I get up and walk out. I have polycythemia though. I have drained a few gallons in past 5 years... a machine to confirm Hemo before safe bet cause mine has jumped up then down at times!!!
