I was just going on the post week b4 last, actually was Sunday the 23rd in Mountain Man's Old Man thread,

You had said you'll be 45 next Fri, so me, I'm assuming (rather than "this" Fri, the new week after that Sunday).!

So that's why I put sorry if mis-calc, or misinterpreted, Lol.! Oh well, Happy Belated brother. Hope it was good though. My Bad

No need to apologize for being a nice guy Motor!. To be honest it was kind of tough because I had to bury my pet Chinchilla on Wednesday the 26th of July. Had him for 19.5 years, so he was pretty much a family member. More like a son than a pet.

Wow, that long..? and, sorry for that loss too, i remember those little creatures, always at the pet shops in Mall's. Guess on a positive note, he (it) had a good long life. I had to put my Golden Retriever down I think two days after his 13th B-Day, years back, on my ex's
Birthday, which too was July.

Yeah the lifespan of a Chinchilla supposedly is only up to 10 years. So he surpassed that 9.5 years. It's because he was well taken care of and loved. We didn't just leave him in his cage, we took him out and let him run around. He also liked to snuggle with either of us. They make great pets and have their own personalities. Our chin would come to the front of his cage and hop up and down when either of us would come home. He wanted attention like a dog. He would see us eating and, he'd either beg for our food or start eating his own.
