Hi guys, been lurking around her for a little while. Decided I should introduce myself. I'm 29 years old and have been lifting seriously for about 8 years, when not plagued by the all too often injuries. Started off running prohormones 2-3 years ago, just recently getting into more traditional aas within the last 6 months.

Welcome, Interested to know " truly" how the Prohormones thing of recent years, ( especially since that's how you started ) worked out for ya...?

Worthy..? Waste of $$$..? Sides & effectiveness.!

Good place you've found, no doubt.. very outstanding

Hey Groot! Glad to have you! There are some great guys around here who have tons of information. One thing I will say is if you have a question please ask! You have to educate yourself on the risks involved with the decision to use these compounds. I'm not in any way discouraging you. On the contrary, I encourage you! To learn all you can! I learn here every day and I'm not even a little ashamed to say it. Brother welcome and enjoy

I started off with just a simple 6 week 1/4 Andro cycle and actually gained something like 15 lbs (solid calorie surplus and more of iifym not a completely clean diet), also had some solid strength gains which dropped off a bit during pct but kept some gains. The newer dhea derivatives definitely get a bad rep from some people but I think for a first cycle they really aren't a bad place to begin.

Since then I've ran quite a bit of others, dmz, msten, triumph, dienolone, epiandro and maybe a few more.

Definitely had some great gains from some of the stronger methylated products especially(msten being my favorite). Never had too bad of sides from anything other than a bit of lethargy, which 4 Andro and/or epiandro stacked with them helps. I think the biggest drawback to most prohormones is the limited cycle length especially due to liver toxicity. I've always ran tudca with methyls and never had values get to elevated but don't feel comfortable going more than 6ish weeks. Just not worth the risk plus the lethargy started hitting a bit more on most cycles by that point.

I think they can definitely be used in conjunction with aas and provide benefits, especially to kickstart a cycle and get it off to a quick start.

A lot of guys don't understand the difference between a prohormone and an active steroid. A prohormone has to be converted by enzymes in the body to an active hormone or steroid. An active steroid like M-Sten doesn't have to be converted. It's already an active steroid. If you've used OTC Prohormones or M-Sten or DMZ, you've used steroids. There really isn't any difference. They are really just oral steroids. The newer DHEA based prohormones are relatively weak though compared to what was available years ago.

Trestolne, an active steroid that is still legal is a much better steroid than probably the majority of illegal AAS available.

Yeah definitely anything that is newer seems to just get called a "prohormone" whether it is actually an active steroid or not, similar to how multiple different products are labeled as sarms when they aren't (mk677, cardarine etc).

I agree the dheas definitely aren't on the same level as other things out there, switching from 4 Andro to even a TD test base was a whole new world. Recommended doses are fairly low on them as well,as and I believe there is actually a limit to just how much your body may be able to convert to the active steroids. I could be wrong and haven't seen any factual evidence, but even if you dose them extremely high you could never reach the amount of conversion to the active that you are hoping for. Ive actually got some trestolone (oral and td) in the stash as well. Looking forward to giving it a go sometime in the future.

You'll definitely love the trestolone. The one-step conversion PH were a lot better. The newer dhea based ones were not worth the money in my opinion.
