Advice on going back to school

Whats your location? I live in tx, huge in refinery. I went back at 28, got a 2 year degree in analytical instrument tech. Went from 49k to 103k in 2 years... Or you can be like my sister and,have a 100+k degree and,studsnt loans and make 22$ a hour at Google, or like my cousin with a 100k degree and make 39k as a teacher.. Dont just go to go, go in with a plan. My schooling was 12k total

Brother, think long and hard about what you enjoy doing. Money is a wonderful thing no doubt, but you can't put a price on doing whatever it is you love to do. If you truly love what you do, it's not even like work. I work as a tradesmen myself, sure I won't make 250k a yr like a doc would, but I do ok at 100k/yr and I love what I do. In my opinion thats the most important part. My days fly by and I never feel like I'm watching the clock waiting to get free..
