What’s up everyone. Figured I’d finally make an account and document my first cycle journey. I’ve been lifting on and off since high school, but over the last year I’ve really locked in on consistency with training and nutrition. I’m 40 years old, 5’7”, currently sitting around 137 lbs at roughly 10-15% body fat. Naturally I’ve always been on the smaller side, but I’ve got a solid frame and good work ethic, so I’m ready to push things to the next level.
My long-term bulk goal is around 190 lbs, then eventually cutting down and maintaining somewhere around 175 lean-ish. I know that’s a huge transformation and not something that’s happening overnight, but I’m committed to the process and want to do it right.
Current planned cycle:
The main focus is size, strength, and overall mass gain. I respond well to hard training, and I’m planning to keep calories high, protein even higher, and stay consistent in the gym. Training will mainly revolve around heavy compounds with progressive overload and enough volume to grow.
Biggest things I’m hoping to improve:
I know there’s a lot to learn, especially when it comes to managing estrogen, prolactin, blood pressure, recovery, and keeping health markers in check. I’m not going into this blindly, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible from guys who’ve already been there.
Would appreciate any advice on:
I’ll keep updating this thread with weight changes, progress, strength increases, diet updates, and how I’m responding overall. Hoping this ends up being a solid transformation log.
