3 pieces of advice you would give to your younger self.

Like the topic says, if you had the opportunity to speak with your younger version, what is 3 pieces of advice that you would give yourself, when it only pertains to this way of life..

Whatever you do, don’t marry your first wife. Not pertaining but kind of. 😂

Focus on diet and not just weights. My biggest regret.

Be consistent.

Be careful with gear. I wasn’t at all.

1) You don't wanna step into a big pile of shit (thanks Fred Durst!)
2) You don't know what you are doing
3) Don't use the fucking harpoon that comes with the Mexican Sostenon redijects
3b) I got away with this but would still give the advice: Don't reuse the same needle 5+ times (hey man, I was a dumb smart guy and pins weren't near as easy to get back then at least as far as I knew).

These are all good and sound solid pieces of advice, I honestly don't think there would ever be a particular set three pieces of advice that would be a one-size-fits-all..
When you hear different perspectives, and different wording and different approaches and whatnot, it really makes you think a lot about life..

But the way I look at life, for myself, I've been non-existing for hundreds and thousands of millions of years before I was born, with that being said whatever happened during that time frame during History didn't affect me, and after I die I'm going to be dead for a very very long time, therefore future events are not going to affect me again.. So for this little itty bitty time frame that I'm alive from the billions of years that I wasn't alive, in the billions of years that I'll be dead, this little snippet, the small fragment and time, I'm going to use it to the best of my ability to Live my best life.

Now it's often in life, people may forget the things that you say and do, but people will never forget the way you make them feel. With that being said with each and every single encounter, try with the best of your ability to make it a good encounter, because people will never forget it, and they'll never forget how you make them feel, whether it's good or bad, that is what they'll remember you by, they won't remember you by the things that you say or anything of that nature, it will always be how you made them feel that will be synonymous with them..

I love you attitude!

Just 3????......I have received lots of great advice mostly from my father. Here are JUST 3 but I could go on....

1. Your life is your responsibility
......what a tremendous gift it is to be able to shape, craft, build, mold, and create your life! It is a privilege to have this responsibility. But it’s only when we recognize it’s ours and ours alone that we can actually seize our power.
2. Work hard. Stay humble....the following goes along with this....
.....Never forget to say thank you
.....Never forget to pay it forward
.....Never forget that it’s not always about you
......Be kind always
3. Just keep going. No matter what
.......outlast the days that make you want to give up
