Training on empty stomach

I have always eaten before working out; usually 2 scoops of whey 1 cup of oatmeal, 1 tea spoon of honey and 2 hours after i work out, but since am on this cutting cycle i switched to a small peace of chicken and 10 gr of rice . Yesterday i did not have time for digestion , had to get out of town early so i woke up at 3:45 am drank 2 cups of strong Cuban coffee and 20 mins after hit the gym, did back and biceps and 40 mins of cardio...felt so good and also felt the help for the cutting purposes; i did today again..i will keep it for the remaining of this cutting cycle, 3 weeks left. Do you ever train on empty stomach?
 
I train at 5 AM, I cant eat, I have 2 coffee's, and a scoop of pre-workout. When Im done, thats another story.
(I get up at 3:30 AM).
2 Bananas, Clif Bar on way to work, when I get there I have a salad or meal at 8 AM...
 
I agree as well. I can't train anyways with food in me.....especially cardio. I like to train fasted so I always train first thing in the AM.

I have to at least a snack or else I get hungry after a few sets and I feel like I'm losing size, LOL.. Sometimes I'll sip a Coke, which is probably why I get toe cramps.
 
I general wake up at 10 till 6. Only have coffee and then train. Usually don't finish up and eat till 10:30. IMO this burns a shit load of fat cause I can eat like garbage now and never gsin any fat.
 
For blood flow.

Was going to more -or-less give an answer similar, but not my thread, nor directed to me. But, yeah food calls for blood to make it's way to the stomach so.it can do.its job with the digestive process, and you want that blood "available" to working muscles, not digesting hoards of Food, I'm.sure a small meal, or something can't hurt, I almost always eat a little something. "However" I do not eat s large meal when doing larger muscle groups legs, back etc. An arm., Or shoulder workout, no biggie.. but food bogs me for legs and back moves .

First I've ever heard this. I've always tried to get in a meal 90 minutes before training. I'll try to time it more in the 2-3 hour range and see if I notice a difference. Thanks.
 
Hell all my life I’ve considered my workout cancels calories lol I never in 30 years not eat preworkout in fact once in awhile just small burger at BK on my way to gym lol
 
I train at 4:30 am. I inject my aminos and for my drink it’s 1 scoop carbs(50g) one scoop aminos (all day u may) and one scoop pre workout (500mg caffeine)

That’s called genetics and you are blessed by the gods lol . My closest friend eats subs pizza daily never set foot in gym age 50 looks like John J Rambo total v shape washboard .

Me between martial arts and bodybuilding 40 years clean eater 90% and I work my ass off. My day begins 2am breakfast, then tea then 4/5 am gym, then ma practice , then work then teach and train . Bedtime 9pm never one time in 40 years has changed that
 
Always, never train with anything in you At least 2hrs before the gym

That’s how I do it . I think if you work out in the am you have fasted while sleep so I eat then two hours I drink tea pwo stuff etc

No way bro, fat ass most my life. Might just be the amount of muscle I have on me nowaday?
