Testosterone and Seizures

I’m a 35 year old male. I just came off a Tren and test cycle and now I’m currently cruising. I came off cycle end of August and started cruising. I know that hormones can cause a seizure but does anybody have an knowledge on this? I had a seizure at work before I clocked in. And I had one last year when I was running a deca and test cycle. But I have yet to get my blood done to check my levels while cruising. I see a neurologist next Thursday. I’m not saying this is the cause or anything and I rather hope it is not. I’m not using an AI right now as I cruise and I needed very little when I was blasting. But if anybody has any input on this I would appreciate it.

I get ocular migraines when my estro goes high. I was pretty freaked when they first started happening. They cause a prism in my vision of my right eye that last about 30 minutes.

Never heard of any studies connecting test or aas to seizures bro. I've only read about Tren linked to Alzheimer's.

You may want to get checked for epilepsy bro, as seizures can cause brain damage.

Botox injections are great for migraines bro. A lady at work gets them every few months from the doc to keep migraines at bay, without having to resort to narcotics that are often unaffective.

Those who’re unfortunate enough to suffer with epilepsy, can sometimes have a lowered seizure threshold during hormonal fluctuations.
My gf is epileptic. She’s been on a combo of meds for 10+ years and has them pretty well under control however. It sucks to have to be using the meds though, they’re pretty harsh.

Anyhow, I just mention her because she’s my reason for having began to research details of the condition, and tidbits I’ve picked up from medical opinions of docs.
Females tend to be more prone to seizure activity during hormonal fluctuations (with various forms of epilepsy), but it would seem logical that AAS use for male epileptics “could” be a potential trigger at times for males as well.

That said, outside of an epileptic condition, it would be rare for AAS to be a cause of a seizure. And even uncommon for the majority of those with epilepsy.

Thanks for the info guys. As for commonality of my condition when I had the seizures, I was on test both times for sure and I can’t remember but I may have still been on deca at the time of the first one. But both times I had them I was extremely exhausted from work. Working 3rds getting only 2 to 3 hours of sleep a day through the week. The first time I was on tramadol that I was prescribed for pain in my shoulder. That’s why the first one I never did anything about it except just come home from the ER. I know sleep deprivation can cause them and I know tramadol
can lower the threshold for them. But this time I was not on tramadol but I was so tired. I worked all 12 hours that night before and got off at 11am and then turned around and went back in at 7pm. It took everything I had to not nod off at the wheel on the way to work. Super tired. I had an EEG Tuesday (don’t know results just yet) and I a neurologist Thursday next week. Hoping to just rule it as sleep deprivation. Right now I can’t return to work till the doctor clears me, not ever supposed to drive, and my wife has been keeping me from lifting but I don’t know how much longer I can listen to her on that end. She’s just so freaked out cause if it had been 5 min before I would of been driving. I guess I got ready to clock in when I fell out. So that’s what’s going on. Thanks for all the insight guys. If anyone has anything else feel free to add it cause I’m lost with this subject and I’m really not trying to self-diagnose myself via internet.

I’m not saying test is why or anything just was seeing if anybody knew of any link since I read something about hormone levels can provoke them. Hopefully I find out more and why and I will keep y’all posted. I’m still going to cruise on my test dose and right now I’m just trying to remain sane. My wife is more spooked than I am, so she’s asked me to do absolutely nothing right now. Not lifting and hitting the gym is killing me. I have a hard time just sitting still and even though I’ve got a hacked fire stick and can watch any show or movie that can be thought of on demand for free it’s killing me. I’m starting to get depressed it seems. I really don’t need to miss work and my short term disability doesn’t kick in for another week or 2. Only way I been able to make some money is hack firesticks for people but I been doing that for about 2 years so it’s drying up a little. Shit guys I’m sorry to be dropping all this bullshit here. I know this is really unrelated to steroids and I’m sorry for dumping all my shit on y’all. I’m gonna hop off. My bad if I sound like a bitch and made ya read some shit ya didn’t care for.

No man I don’t take that. I have Graves’ disease which is an over active thyroid that was shrunk with radiation and now I take levothyroxin to supplement what is needed but I literally just had labs done this week and my levels are normal. I’ve got an antibiotic bactin that I’ve been on for about a month because when my levels drop from high test to a cruise dose I get some wicked acne.
But other than that. That’s it.

I mean Bactrim. Seizures are rare side effect of that and I believe i was not on that at the time of the one I had before.
