These are 4 of the various bodybuilding drugs or "gear" some professional bodybuilders often use:
Insulin
Produced in the pancreas, Insulin is a hormone that “regulates blood glucose by allowing your body’s cells to absorb and use glucose. In turn, this drops blood glucose levels.”
Bodybuilders use Insulin to work longer and harder without breaking down muscle tissue(catabolism). Insulin also instigates biochemical reactions in the muscle that increase protein synthesis which means muscle growth!
Testosterone & Androgenic-Anabolic Steroids (AAS)
Testosterone can be injected or taken orally. I would not really define it as a bodybuilding “drug” as the human body produces it naturally. Some people use it because of low levels of Testosterone in their bodies. Bodybuilders use it to boost the levels! Testosterone increases muscle protein synthesis making muscle tissue grow faster and larger!
(HGH) Human Growth Hormone
HGH is a peptide hormone produced by the pituitary gland [6], it is created through genetic engineering and is used by many bodybuilders as (when dosed correctly) it is “efficient, hard to detect, and without major side effects”
HGH increases muscle size and can even signiffaclly increase strength! It is often used in conjuntion with steroids.
Trenbolone Acetate
Trenbolone, also known as trienolone or trienbolone, as well as 19-nor-δ9,11-testosterone, Δ9,11-nandrolone, or estra-4,9,11-trien-17β-ol-3-one, is an anabolic-androgenic steroid of the 19-nortestosterone group
Tren is a very versatile and popular steroid. Trenbolone Acetate enhances protein synthesis and nitrogen retention in muscle tissue and it also increases red blood cell count for better blood oxygenation. This enhances muscle endurance!
