Notifications on email

How in gods name does one delete notifications on my email . I log on proton and there are 100s of so and so posted or so and so quoted etc . I looked on settings nothing is checked I want zero nothing zilch how anyone know how to end the nightmare please

Yes my spam has 1000s of notifications I come here I don’t need 1000s upon 1000s on proton lmao it’s crazy

I go on settings but no way to stop I’m thinking I have to do on here ? Thanks for that info - they tell us they have to send our messages to feds nice of them

The settings are on this site not ProtonMail if I understand correctly what you are talking about.

While notifications are enabled, we do know what your notification email is and if issued an enforceable Swiss court order asking us to turn over your notification email, we will have to turn over your notification email. Notification emails are permanently deleted from our system if you delete the notification email in the Settings page.
