Damn no hockey fans ? Up here Boston I get bruins on sports channel and their sister channel Chicago I get black hawks - the other night watch chi kick Canadians ass, bruins since fired Claude all young kids playing great- brad Marchand NHL high scorer not bad

Life long Bruins fan, grew up (watching) in the 70's (born in the late 60's) w/ O'Reilly, Wensink, Jonathan, Middleton, Park, Orr, etc...
Always watched, followed, loved. Still do to this day. Marchand (Nose Face Killer) is on fire. Both teams made out with new coaches (Julien to Habs, Cassidy with B's)...

Minnesota Wild. Been skating since I was 2. My other team is Philadelphia. Flyers aren't great this year...but the Wild...now you're talking. Never cared for the Blackhawks.
Boston is always solid. Hockey is the only team sport I give two squirts of piss for. Never miss a game!

Same... Have pics of when I was kindergarten age on my 1st team.. By 13 I was on a traveling team and went to Canada to play, stayed with a Canadien family, then when they came here, the same kid stayed with us.
It was fun... After HS though it was only pick up/adult leagues, but still fun. Dont skate much anymore at this age, but still do on occasion.

My brother plays in juniors right now. My dad is a scout for a southwest US NHL team. He does it to stay busy. I get tickets every now and then from him when games are in my neck of the woods.
Played myself all the way through High School and 2 years in the Navy. (Juniors/Recruiting Team). I skate when I can...but I don't play much anymore. Best sport in my book!

Two4slash - sounds awesome ! Damn I miss playing . As kid played from age 5 as I could skate before walking , think had to do with dads obsessed with skiing as I was skiing too lol. All through childhood and high school - my best friends now are guys whom I played hockey . Played year round , hockey camps - one year I played for two teams rivaling towns lol-got Ton of shit especially the one game I played not on my home town but on the other- some still have not forgiven but hey I eventually quit as my combat / martial art training became full time obsession 8-16 hours daily until I shattered my spine in Aikibudo class- then 1995 until currently I teach , practice or training only 2-6 hours . Only because we humans have to work . Sucks I travelled the country training ,then Asia - only a spectator now hockey but I can't forget the sheer exhilaration of skating , no sport requires more stamina - people don't realize sometimes 10 second shifts are too much lol

Their fans are truly unbelievable! Even though I'm a Wild fan...I'd love to go to a game in Chicago. The atmosphere seems insane!

I hear ya brother! It's hard having a life, getting old, but still have that passion for a sport/sports you love. To me, there's nothing better then the absolute "clear" senses you experience when you're on the ice. Just the smell of the air on the ice is so clean....it's surreal.
Im looking forward to getting to Vegas sometime and checking a game out. Could be a spot for some brothers to hit a game on a short weekend.... hmmmmmmm.....

Pretty hard not to be a hockey fan or baseball fan with two pros in the house hold. Hockey is the best sport in the world, won't find a tougher person, I laugh at all the pussies in football who sit out with a hurt finger, and I won't start on the NBA, that sport is just useless!

Even though I'm not a fan of Syd the Kid, or the Penguins for that matter, Nashville needs to take the next two. I don't know what's going on with Rinne right now....but man, Pittsburgh is on their way to a repeat if they take one of the next two...
To answer your question....I'm rooting for the Preds.....but have a gut feeling it'll be the Pens.

I am from the philly area and go to tons of games, mostly to see how good the other teams are. They need to let Ronnie run the whole team and choices, like he did with the kings, two cups later, I think he has a clue how to make a team come together.[/COLOR]
