I've been reading a lot on staying as healthy as possible while taking a REASONABLE amount of gear. This has lead me to just learning more about being healthy in general.

One of the most talked about issues regarding steroids or even just TRT is cholesterol. However, I have been coming across more and more studies that suggest cholesterol does not actually cause heart problems...that we have been looking at a correlation that may not actually exist.

One particular argument is that while high LDL and/or low HDL is found in roughly 50% of people with heart disease...the other 50% of this group does not exhibit this. So is "bad" cholesterol just being identified as the culprit because it happens to be there?

Now, I am certainly no medical expert nor does my degree have ANYTHING to do with thjos subject matter lol...so I am not claiming to know any of these answers. I just found this very interesting and wondered what others think.

I've read some interesting material from Dr. Raymond Peat about cholesterol. The summary is this: Cholesterol is not the boogie man we have been led to believe.
Many decades ago, if a patient came into a doctor's care and their cholesterol was elevated, the doctor would usually suspect hypothyroidism as there is a stong
correlation, but now they just give you a statin. Here is the link to that article.

Exactly what I've been reading...cholesterol is the boogie man but sugar is the real culprit.
