Bench heavy always use to throw my form way off. Killed my shoulders too. After searching on google and reading lots of reviews i settled on a product that has really helped me. Mark bells 'slingshot'. Anyone else use it? I put up way more weight now with it and without. Helps keep my form nice and tight. It does cheat the weight at the bottom of the rep but I've found it to help me handle heavier weight even without it, just less reps. It has really helped my form and in turn I basically have no more shoulder pain. Arms are starting to fit too tight in it tho, not looking forward to having to buy a size bigger, holding off as long as I can. But it's a good feeling my arms are outgrowing it too

I have never used it but have heard that many benchers do like it. Its probaly something I should look into because I do have the same issue with my shoulders and thats why I went back to dumbbells. On occasion I will barbell bench but once I start to go heavy I will get that pain in my left shoulder.

Yes like the link you posted. Honestly I don't think I'll go back to really heavy work without it. And I've going from super painful shoulders to basically zero pain. It's also helped be break past sticking points. Let's me handle new heavier weight then I'm able to handle the same weight without the sling in time. Really been a crutch for great bench form for me too.

I like the SS, I have 2 different strength's/models. I have the Titan Ram as well, but the SS just feels better.
Helps with lockout strength when benching raw after a while, keep using it, your poundages will go up, your shoulders will feel better...

I just bought the red one and I should have it by the end of the week. Can't wait to try it.

Good deal. I think you are really going to like it MW!

Yep I sure will..can't wait to try it. Watching some of the demo vids that show how it's put on and used. The one I have is the original red one in XL size...best $60 I spent.

Next gadget I want to get is the Bowtie.

Has anyone tried that piece of equipment that you wear and supposed to help with better form benching?

You mean the Bowtie? That one helps keep your shoulders in position so you can bench with better form. The slingshot provides support and keeps your arms supported so you can bench more weight.

I bought the new style yellow xl about 2 weeks ago.. I know its cheating but I just tried (last night) 315 for one rep and got it.... I was only comfortable with 250 like 2-3 times without it.. So I plan on using it to rep 250 X5 a few sets.. I know it brought my 225 reps up like 6 more per set and I swear no shoulder pain at all now.
I highly recommend this to any of you who has shoulder issues....
Be warned if you have a wide grip bench this will force you to go narrow and keep them elbows tucked but that's why its less strain on the shoulders.

That is if you don't mind looking a little stupid while benching.... Haha I'm over that now so it don't really bother me...
